Sweden

Sweden. A land of conscientious, pure, and healthy living.

Sweden is more than just the home of “Bjergen Kjargen, from Kneurgen, near the Joergen Fjords. Hmm. Kneurgen, that’s in the Klargen Province, near the Biburgen River” (Wayne’s World 2, 1993), more than the home of the Swedish Chef, or Swedish meatballs, or IKEA, or even wonderful Swedish massages. My visit was concentrated in Stockholm followed by a quick stop in Göteborg. Stockholm is a great city, from the old-world charm of Gamla Stan, to its modern transportation system and energy-efficient buildings. The Swedish people I encountered are active, social, and very friendly. If it weren’t for the high prices of Scandinavia, I’d love to spend a lot more time here.
