Zip World Velocity at Zip World Penrhyn Quarry is the fastest Zip Line in the world and the longest in Europe. I spent a single night in Wales just so I could go on Velocity.

What I saw of Wales was beautiful rolling green hills, mountains, lakes, forest, and numerous castles dotting the landscape. The people I met were warm and friendly and I hope to some day spend more time exploring the rest of Wales.

Getting around Wales in a car is very easy, but it is definitely helpful to have GPS. The main motorways I took were in great condition and moved fast. The back roads were narrow and winding like the rest of the United Kingdom and were in reasonable condition.
